Will & Vicky

A glorious winters day welcomed us to Milton Damerel Church for Will & Vicky’s special day – with the reception held at the Magnificent Buckland House ,Nr Holsworthy Devon. The wedding day was both intimate and informal with the emphasis on using the great location to create stunning images !! Flowers are an important element and award winning florist Erika Tippet of Bleujen Florists produced a stunning bouquet to compliment Vicky’s dress – which came from The Wedding Collection in Barnstaple , Devon
Enjoy some of my favourites from the day.
Matt & Louise
by Phil Glew on Feb.10, 2010, under Weddings
Matt & Louise travelled down from Bristol to get married at The Headland Hotel in Newquay -which is right on Fistral Beach.
As soon as we started the Bridal Preparations it was clear that this was going to be a very different day – emotional , fun and extremely laid back – with one very , very excited Bride!!! From jumping on the bed to dodging the incoming tide on Fistral gave us great opportunity to produce some great images.
David & Sara
by Phil Glew on Feb.09, 2010, under Weddings
David & Sara run their own farm on Exmoor so it was a natural choice for them to marry close by.
Dulverton Church was the closest to them just across the border in Somerset and hence the story unfolds.
Huntsham Court ( Nr Tiverton) was the splendid backdrop to the wedding day – with Sara’s bridal preparations in the morning and reception venue for the evening.
We arrvived at Huntsham in Glorious sunshine but true to form the British weather tried in vain to disrupt matters with one of the wettest days we had seen for a while.
I always see rainy weddings as an opportunity and was able to use the interior of Huntsham to maximum effect – with a little help from some supplementary lighting and great Decor !!
